A friend of mine has a food–product which I tried and immediately said “this needs to get out there”.  As we were talking about it I mentioned if they were to get it on Oprah’s favorite things it would be amazing. I did a little foot work - found out the right contact at Harpo & tried to find out her favorite wine in order to send a gift package so that she (or her producers) would try the food w/the wine.  Fast forward a few weeks – My friend is at a party in Napa, where they were serving the product.  Who is there….. Oprah!  Long story short, after talking to her a bit, he told her she needed to try this.  She went over, ate one (then another, then another) and took a bunch with her.  Said they were delicious.  Who knows what’s going to happen but if that’s not the universe in action, I don’t know what is.
